About us
Over a century of tradition (since 1895)
Fulham Brass Band has a long history of playing music throughout London and today is the last remaining such group based within the Central London area.
Comprised of a tireless core group of 25-30 musicians, who meet regularly to play music and strive to keep the genre of traditional brass band music freely available to all.
A culture of competition
Since 2000 the Band, its soloists, quartets and small ensembles have entered contests in and around the London area and have returned home triumphant on many occasions.
Supporting charities
The Band has collaborated with Cancer Research UK over a period of some 15 years and is very proud to have raised over £25,000 for the charity to date. Most of this money has been raised through regular concerts in Charing Cross Hospital foyer (Tuesday evenings 7.45pm to 9pm). The Band has, in addition, been involved in many other charitable events taking place in the local neighbourhood at various times over its 110-year history.
