Summer is on its way!

FBBConcert10May.inddThe Sun is shining, and so are all at Fulham Brass Band! Fresh after our 2nd place achievement at the London & Southern Counties Area Contest, the band are busy preparing for our summer programme, for a busy schedule of gigs and concerts throughout May, June and July. Keep checking our gigs page for updated information!

The Band are very much looking forward to our next concert on Sunday 10th May at 3:00pm, at St Etheldreda’s Church in Fulham (close to Putney Bridge tube station), where we will be performing an eclectic programme of music from the classics, films and theatre, with solo performances from the band’s award-winning principal players. Get your tickets from for £8 in advance, or on the door for £10. The concert will be in aid of Help for Heroes and St. Clement’s Church Extension Appeal, and coincides with the 70th anniversary of VE-day. So it will certainly be an exciting and important concert to come and support.

VACANCIES: The band are in great spirits after an excellent 2014 and start to 2015 and if you would also like to join Fulham we are seeking a strong Front Row Cornet, Euphonium and Bb Bass player to add to our existing line up. We welcome students, workers or anyone within the area who wish to be part of a hardworking, fun and ambitious First Section band with lots of exciting projects in the pipeline building on our recent successes (including a trip to the National Finals in Cheltenham this September!). Please get in touch with Matt Pitt (band manager) in confidence on if you fancy joining the Fulham Brass Band family!
