Fulham prepare for National Finals

Fulham Brass Band were winners of the 3rd section ‘Area’ contest in March 2010. As such, they have qualified to represent the London and Southern Counties area at the National Finals compeition held in Harrogate on Sunday 26th September 2010. The test-piece is ‘Willow Pattern’ by Philip Harper. Click more to see how we prepared for the most important contest in the brass banding calander:

7th August 2010: St James Park – Fulham’s first public performance of the Nationals testpiece. Full independant review here

August – September 2010: Each rehearsal we will video a performance of the testpiece and uploaded it onto our facebook site for our freinds to see how the band is working on the piece http://www.facebook.com/#!/brassbander

September 2010: Small groups of Fulham players will be raising funds to pay for the Nationals trip by playing around our local area

September 19th 2010: Fulham Brass raise funds for the Nationals trip by playing a concert (featuring the testpiece) at Parsons Green, Fulham
