Fulham British Legion Remembrance Parade

Fulham Brass Band paid their respects to all those who have been lost by taking part in Fulham’s Remembrance Parade on Sunday 8th November. The Band have been part of the annual Parade every year since the end of World War II.
After leading the Parade down New Kings Road from Fulham Royal British Legion to All Saints Church (playing Slaidburn and Death or Glory), the Band then provided the hymns during the open air service of remembrance, with Andy Sladen sounding the Last Post and Reveille.

After leading the Parade back to take the salute at Parsons Green, we then played an informal concert in the Legion while all the participants tucked into the Legion’s buffet. Playing a selection of pieces, the audience were persuaded to join in whistling, clapping and singing.

The Band are honoured to play an important part in such a key event of Fulham’s civic life, and to entertain our friends at the Legion. We look forward to this continuing for many years to come.
