On Sunday 27th September, Fulham Band performed in its plushest venue of the year so far. A 10 piece from the Band provided music during the drinks reception at the retirement dinner for a John Retallick, a major player in the catering industry for 50 years, taking place in the Ballroom at the Park Lane Sheraton Hotel on Piccadilly.Booked by the organisers, we entertained the guests at the black tie dinner as they drank their pre-meal champagne. The Band then cemented their taste for the central London high life by having a few drinks themselves in the hotel bar!
