Preparations for London & Southern Counties regionals

The Band is currently rehearsing Dark Side of the Moon for The London and Southern Counties 2008 Regional Qualifying Contest, held on the weekend of 15/16th March 2008 at the Arts and Leisure Centre in Stevenage.

Meanwhile, the band is grateful to Michael Dawson (Principal Euphonium) and Kate Brown (Timpani) who have agreed to play with the band at the contest. Read more

New players – February 2008

The band would like to welcome four new players to its ranks in preparation for the forthcoming area contest in Stevenage:-

  • Balázs Szilágyi and Chris Lees join the cornet section
  • Linda Tibbetts completes the horn section line up
  • Rachel Summers joins on Baritone to provide essential support to the middle band
