The band are now back for 2017 in full swing after our first sectional of the new year. John and the band were thrilled to have the full band on Monday in preparation for the Area Contest in March at Stevenage. The audition process for brass vacancies are nearly at an end and we would like to thank everyone who has come down to the band to have a play so far. There are still vacancies for percussionists in the band and we invite anyone to get in contact with us and come have a go. New signings will be announced shortly!

Fulham is working very hard on the Area test piece, The Land of the Long White Cloud by Philip Sparke, and we are introducing more repertoire into our rehearsals for our spring concert with guest soloist James Fountain, principal trumpet of the London Philharmonic Orchestra. The concert will take place on Sunday 21st May at 3pm in St.Etheldreda’s Church, Fulham, where we rehearse. Details of repertoire and tickets to follow soon. Save the date!
